Although Imam Husayn (a.s.) spent only seven years of his life with his mother, this period was of great importance in his life. She did a very important job of laying down the basic characteristics of his behaviour such as love for the creation of Allah, spirit of self-sacrifice, and above all, bravery. She taught him to have fear for none but Allah and to value nothing more than truth. We shall see later on in this the result of this excellent training on the character of this noble Imam
